This song has meant alot to me my entire life. My dad, who was in the navy was constantly gone and I'd see him every once in awhile, would play this song for me all the time. When he finally retired he had this song playing at his retirement and told me to come up and we hugged and cried and he said don't turn out like me and apologized for not being there alot. |

A good friend of mine passed away a few days ago and we had a candlelight memorial for him. This song was his favorite song ever and it was played there. i just had to find it and i've been listening to it ever since. It means so much to me. R.I.P. Marcus Slaughter we love you bro. |
