Ok...these are all very nice ideas, but this song is in fact about a particular event. This song is about a certain individual at an intimate hometown show that "managed to tear this day to shreds - tear the audience to shreds. completely oblivious. i should be bigger than that but it really got to me. it was such a big day for us." source: Interview CD 2003 promo (for radio only) thankfully i managed to get a copy. |
