I wrote a song for my girl-friend and I used this beat for it. She cried. She loved it. See I cheated on her and she broke up with me, we were seperated for a year and i knew i couldnt live without her, so i quit my band for about 6 months to work on some solo stuff and this song is the on one I worked on hard. The others are still a work in progress and Ive never used anyones beats before but I liked this one so much I had to. Good track! =] |

That is the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life! dtfernandes says the song is about a drug addiction!!! lol.
Clearly the song is about a girl who is in love with a childhood friend. The friend is someone she has always been in love with but too scared to tell because she feels he will be kinda freaked out by it and will not want to be her friend anymore. I know how this feels because there was a girl I grew up with in New Jersey and I was and remain to be in love with her to this day. I let her go. As a kid I fell madly infatuated with her. When she turned 18 she got married and moved to Seattle. I to this day, hate myself because I never told her. She could've been my wife and I never told her how I felt because I feared she would leave me, but if you dont tell someone how you feel, they will never know and may find someone else. Your soulmate may be your bestfriend so if you feel something for someone, tell them because they may feel the same way. Dont let your soul mate slip away. |

actually i hate this song. I havnt saw many people respond badly to this song, but i will. I dont think they are laughing at him because they've never felt like that before, i think they were probably laughing at him because they've all slept with his girlfriend. You cant be on the road and make a relationship last. I being a musician myself can tell you its hard to stay faithful while your out playing shows. You get introduced to drugs, more girls, and booze. And plus shes in college. Do you not think that she has just as much college fun as the rest of the girls do? i bet she does! if you want to hear a REAL love song listen to gregory and the hawk - Boats and birds. I love this song!!! It really hurts me to listen to it though because I know how this feels. Loving someone so much and knowing they dont really love you the same way. Knowing that they will leave you and you still love them. Only wanting to make them happy and not really caring about yourself so much as you make them happy. And you would do anything in the world to be loved by them as much as you love them. It really hurts. But my band has recorded a cover of this song.
