Morrissey – Honey, You Know Where To Find Me Lyrics 17 years ago
I just got my heart broken by my best friend -- he cares about me so much, but he's in love with someone else. To me, this song is about someone trying to cope with unrequited love; he says, "I'm not gonna cry for the things that never occurred," meaning that he's not going to grieve for the relationship that never happened, and instead he's going to try to be happy without it, and to be there for the person he loves. He's basically regarding their relationship, in retrospect, as a pleasant "what-if" -- it would have been amazing, but he's not going to get broken up about something that he could never have in the first place.

When he says "honey, you know where to find me," I think it means one of two things: (1) that he's willing to be there for the person who broke his heart, so that he or she can "find him" if something goes wrong, and that he'll be there to provide comfort. Or (2) he's going to try and do other non-"mundane" things to try to forget about the relationship that never happened, and to get back to the happy person he was before.
