Oops, sorry, got it! - And my daddy [told you], "Stay away from Juliet," |

- And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet," Explain?!?! Isn't she supposed to be Juliet? - And my daddy said, "Stay away from yourself," ?! Oh and you guys. The fact that Romeo and Juliet both die at the end doesn't really matter, because it's still known as the greatest love story ever told basically, and that's probably where the metaphore ends. |

OH MY GOD! "I forgot my boyfriend was the one that had bought me this ROCK"?!?!?! This is what I get for not having english as my native tongue. I've been singing "I forgot my boyfriend was the one that had bought me this BRA" and thereby putting a much more sexual angle to the song... Like "I forget everything around when I'm with you, as I am undressing, I don't even think about who bought me my lingerie" I suck |

| Britney Spears – If U Seek Amy Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I like the part with "Oh baby baby F U C K me tonight, Oh baby baby we'll do hatever you like. But before I found out about the word game, the songs context kind of made sense. Now only the refrain makes sense. Like there's two songs in one. Because if it's ONE text it feels weird to me. First she talks about this Amy girl that she's looking for, and then all of a sudden she's the one that everybody wants to bang? Or is it sung from two perspectives? The verses sung from a person that wants to get with Amy, and the chorus sung from Amy? God, I'm blabbering... |

And the "diving into my own destruction" part? yes, with being obsessed she knows that she's pushing him away. At least that's my thoughts on the song. I could quote this song and call it the story of my life :P |

Didn't have the energy toread more than half the comments, but the meaning is so much easier than what you make it out to be. The woman is pregnant, as she says, so she feels fat and ugly and threatened by her mans ex girlfriends, especially since he is a popular guy, she is afraid that he is going to leave her for aother woman, so she becomes like obsessed with him "love to wash in your old bathwater" she wants every part of him to be as close to her as possible. So... Hormon insecurity is basically what the song is about. that's it. Even if I like Tragicangvw's view on the song. Smart there |
