i can't believe no one has commented this yet. i know people say that a lot, but this is ridiculous. for rocking chair year fans who don't know about their other stuff, PLEASE get the No Lights On Weldon album. This is my favorite song off it. Chris at his most emotional, and the acoustic guitars are amazing. "After my car was packed and these maps were spread like paint out on the dashboard, you never thought to call me. I'm driving the world tonight with your face on my mind, all exempt from feeling anything at all" Some of the best lyrics I've heard from them. Very self explanatory |

| first of all, definitely my favorite owen song. amazing sound and vocals. anyways, its clearly about cheating if you think about it. i think its about a guy and girl who were once together, or were once sleeping together, but he mightve caught her cheating on him (or found out shes been sleeping with someone else too), so they either broke up or just became friends, depending on the situation. thinking maybe it was a temporary thing between her and her lover and thinking that they could someday be together again, he held on. but it was clear she wasnt gonna stop sleeping with this guy (she only sees him at night, thus vampire boyfriend). the only comfort he gets is knowing he'll never be like that (he can see himself in the mrror, therefore not a vampire) | |
