The Classic Crime – Everything Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree that it's more than just sex. The song illustrates his resisting to, and later giving in to, temptation and lust.

Matt Costa – Never Looking Back Lyrics 17 years ago
This song is pretty simply saying that one can't look back on the past. They instead must look to the future for everything; happiness, love, friendship, etc.

The Classic Crime – Blindfolded Lyrics 17 years ago
First off, The Classic Crime is an amazing band and I am so glad that they put out this acoustic EP. It shows a side of them that we didn't see from Albatross and probably won't see in The Silver Cord.

'Blindfolded' starts out by questioning love and life: "Do we just exist? And does love persist? The questions of purpose and loving of destiny" and trying to decide whether "bliss" is as simple as finding eternal peace or if one has to change their mindset and beliefs to fit their image of "bliss".

The song shifts to say that they're "not listening" to the criticisms and comments of those around him/her.

Basically, the song revolves around questioning life itself. What is happiness? How can we achieve it?

Your Vegas – the way war was won Lyrics 17 years ago
This is my favorite Your Vegas song, even though it's horrifyingly tear-inducing.

The "war", which can be taking hypothetically, seems to have no end in sight. It's pretty much saying that to end a war, the first step is to "put down your guns", which can lead to peace. In the end, no one needs to win; all parties win if no one is hurt.

The Classic Crime – Abracadavers Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree with you guys. The song seems to be saying that we are "blind" to the fact that we are equals. No one person is greater than another because we are all, when you get down to it, "made of hair and bones and water and blood cells". We spend "way too much time" making our outer beings look decent while in the end, our passion is what will lead us to where we will go after death; our physical beings will all truly be equal at that point.

The Bravery – Rat In The Walls Lyrics 17 years ago
This is one of The Bravery's better B-Sides. It's definitely worth a listen.
