The lyrics in the chorus only furthers the message against apathy, in my opinion. The person or persons that Matt is speaking to is the apathy - inducing public at large. "Time will not heal all of your pain" - time cannot erase the damage you have done to this generation, or that time will not ever allow you to re establish your bullshit empire that has wrought pain upon all of society. "I cannot wait for it all to come crashing down on your face, tearing your veins out" - I can't wait to see your empire fall to ruins, severing the veins of communication you have used to spread your disease of apathetic indifference. "Your insides win, and kill you from within" - the same people that you poisoned to build this monstrosity are the same that will prevail in their new found intelligence and leave you behind to rot in the wake of your demise. |

The perfect song to listen to before a work out. It sums up my feelings on the majority of society: a bunch of fucking pretentious sellout fakes with no substance and hive mentality. |

Yet another Rollins tune about geting fucked up by a woman. This one helped me through the worst break up that I have yet to experience (First serious relationship shot to hell), and never fails to get me up and running when I'm feeling down. |

I think this song is aimed at gang violence; and the ignorance of those who participate in it. As I have always said "Real men don't need guns: and blades never need to be reloaded". |

Women can be deceitful as hell; this song is all about seeing through the bullshit and staring down into the bones of what makes a person who they are; and watching the suckers line up to get stepped on and thrown aside like trash. |

For someone who is full of misanthropy, Rollins proves here that he knows what love is all about. To me, this is the simple, balls - out truth of how love between two people should be. |

You rock, snakewise. No joke. I don't even know you, but you rock. Go on out there and give em' Hell, boyo. The struggle is what it's all about. It's not a race thing or a religion thing: it's just being human. |

| Type O Negative – Red Water (Christmas Mourning) Lyrics

The song depicts a person who has lost four family members "The table's been set for but seven, just last year I dined with eleven", and is drowning his sorrows with a bottle of red wine (red water); thus attempting to "chase away" the memories of those he has lost. I used to listen to this on repeat on the night of Christmas Eve while staring at the tree, reminiscing over Christmases past, and always finding that the ones in the past were better than the present as the years went by. It reminds me of how innocence fades with time. This is why I never have a Christmas tree in my house. |

PETER STEELE IS NOT BLACK. He's a white guy from New York. And this was a filler track written only to take up spare seconds on the disc (much like "Fay Wray Come Out And Play"). |

In my honest opinion, this song contains one of the most accurate passages that describes what it is to truly love someone (at least if you are inclined toward "darker" things). If anyone reading this has ever found themselves lying awake at night and dreaming of someone, then they can relate to this song perfectly, regardless of inclinations. |

The correct lyric is "Everybody smokes pot, MONTE CONNOR sucks cock (Monte Connor was an A&R guy for Roadrunner records at the time of the release of the "Bloody Kisses" album. It was put in as a private joke. |

Rollins is clearly using reverse psychology here. This song (to me at least) basicaly points out that, in the words of Dr. Gregory House, EVERYBODY LIES. The "realization" part at the center was meant as bait for us, the listeners, into temporarily thinking that he is trying to amend for his evil ways; yet it's another con job as he laughs maniacly in the listener's face, saying "SUCKER! SUCKER!". This is why at the end of the live version of this song (from the album "The Only Way To Know For Sure", Rollins says "I love this business", damning musical artists to be liars: just like the rest of us. By the way, check out the video for this song online if you can find it: Rollins as a superhero is hilarious! |
