I dont think that her not putting out has really anything to do with the song. I think it's pretty much just about a relationship that is going down hill and that their fighting for completely different things. and it IS a love song...just about a love gone wrong, sorry it's not sappy and cliche enough for you. Also, I really quite like the anger in jordin spark's voice it adds alot more emotion. When she was performing on American Idol there was deff alot of anger and emotion on that stage. Love it. |

I takw that back. He's NOT drinking with buddies. This song is still melancholy and you can hear the sadness in his voice. I was just listening to it again and i realized it's about remebering memories weather it's about happy memories or about a girl i'm not sure. but here is the proof in the lyrics to back up my explanation. so we sit at this table with our hands on our laps and we have a few drinks and we share a few laughs but now those days have past and they're not coming back it's a shame coz that's all that i had That means that he's remembering the past days and they wont come back and he has is memories. i've got some problems but we've got 10 dollars that's enough to get us wasted before the night is over these past five days i've been completely sober but tonight i'm getting ripped wide open I think here he's saying the memories are ripping him up and tearing him apart and he really just needs to forget.
