Crystal Castles – Air War Lyrics 17 years ago
Ulysses totals about 265,000 words from a vocabulary of 30,030 words (including proper names) and is divided into 18 "episodes".

Ulysses' stream-of-consciousness technique, careful structuring, and experimental prose–full of puns, parodies, and allusions–as well as its rich characterisations and broad humour, have made the book perhaps the most highly regarded novel in the Modernist pantheon.

@tom_omg: IMO, I don't think anyone could memorize those lyrics, tons of wtf words and weird sentences. That could be an explanation of why the lyrics change at some live shows.

Crystal Castles – Courtship Dating Lyrics 17 years ago
Btw, I also hear "smoke" instead of "smell".

"You smoke great disease".

And the 2nd line of the 2nd verse I also hear:

"I call'em for the deal"

Well, I hear this:

How do I feel for thee?
You smell great disease
Cause we're young
Fell in from a star.
When your skin is shed
Find a pile of your head
Now then, I look so smart.

Stove burned (on my hands)
Tell them (tell my friend)
Make you participate.
Eyes rolled (back around)
Will skull...(hit the ground?)
Visions of the hosiery.

Heavens, interfere
I call'em for the -----
When they wander into their cage.
Sewed their arms and lungs
And their rubber covered eyes
The skin will never age.

^ I'm not really that sure with the 2nd verse. It's not "heavens", it's a similar word but with R, like "heavers" or something. Also with "lungs". And with the second line...I couldn't figure what could it be.

And fucken great song.

Mew – Her Voice Is Beyond Her Years Lyrics 18 years ago
In fact, I completely agree with beautifulnobody, and according to that intepretation, I think the story goes like this:

They knew each other but they never really talked to each other; she was in love with him and started the flirting, and he knew about her feelings but he wasn't interested. Unsuccessful, she started to getting depressed and she could only think of "If I could look you in the eyes...I couldn't let you go".

One day, he found her body and called an ambulance. And he was blaming himself by being the cause of her death. Later then, he apologized to her parents, they responded that he didn't have to apologize, it wasn't his fault.

And that's it. It's about unrequited love.
