I'd say that there is no doubt that this is a song about child birth. What is the definition of life? Is a fetus developing in the womb alive? What about the Egg infused with a sperm in conception? What about a quadrapalegic that is responsive to nothing? Fantastic lyrics. |

I'd say that the lyric "all thats benign corrupts in time" has alot of significance. An epiphany is of no harm, its benign. Whether a politcal, social or religious idea initially its harmless. However after it gains ground and spreads from person it "corrupts in time" |
