Nightmare Of You – I Want To Be Burried In Your Backyard Lyrics 17 years ago
I think its interesting to note that he says "You'd (you WOULD) do great in LA" not "You'll (you WILL) do great in LA." I think a little bit he feels played, like she's been acting all along and not meaning it, as opposed to shes going to LA to be an actress, which I think is totally the wrong interpretation.

I think the death metaphors are definitely metaphors, and he's saying something along the lines of death could bring us together again. What's again interesting is he says I want to be buried in your backyard, so assumedly he wants HER alive and him dead, because as his body decays and fertilizes the soil, he believes the flowers will grow above him and remind her that he loved her. So I think the car crash is a metaphor, because the chorus would make no sense otherwise.

The Movielife – Kelly Song Lyrics 17 years ago
What I think I've found most interesting about this song is that it starts "When Kelly cries" as if the song is about Kelly, but later in the song switches to "Kelly, do you remember when?" as if the song is actually TO Kelly. I think the change makes Kelly a more real person, you have an image of this girl, and then the song switches to being to her and you feel a little bit more like you know her, or at least place someone you know in the shoes of Kelly. THoughts?
