First of all read the top of the comment box. It says "What does this song mean to you?" not "Lets see who can start the biggest fight" or "Lets put people and bands down because they made it and I didn't." What I think is and I could horribly be wrong. Reading about all the drama between Ben and Fran. I'm thinking that this song is an expression of Fran's feelings. Dismissal but I can't vacate Forcing my seeds to germinate That means to me Ben isn't here now i'm picking up the slack (Fran) Like history in the making Can we please blur the edges Of this past memory Because apparently this may have not been the first time this happened. Sad Ben left but he's right if you no longer have the passion for what you are doing then you can't stay and drag everyone else down. For the rest of the band I do have to say he could have made it a little easier. |
