Distraughtman, seriously. That's the type of thinking this song is about, in a way. "Then when they turn 18 or 19 they grow out of it and get a job." I did grow up and get a job, in law enforcement actually, and I have two children, but I didn't "grow out of it." At the beginning of your post you said in "your" opinion. Well apparently millions of others have a different opinion or they wouldn't sell records for almost 20 years and if you went to an ICP show, I guarantee you would see many in the crowd over the age of 18, and you would be a little shocked at who they are if you could see them in "the real world." Listen to the lyrics - "What if I grew another fuckin head?" - "And took the make-up off and went soft" It's not about how you look. It's about your music, and obviously you don't understand that. I'm an older Juggalo (27) and I've been down since '93. Like I said, successful career, family of my own and all that ish. But I'm still down with the clown. I used to travel 4 hours to Taylor, Michigan to get the new ICP shit. I don't want to use the "you just don't get it" cliche, but you just don't get it. That's okay, it wasn't meant to appeal to everyone. If you had any kind of strife growing up you might get it. But you were probably one of the jocks stuffing my type in the lockers in gym class. (Take a look behind the paint bitch, it's the scrubs who won) And as for the whining about "ICP slippers, ICP thongs, ICP moonboots (-; etc. So what? It's called merchandising and enterprising. I don't hear people bitching about other artists selling merchandise. It's part of the business. Finally, I think ICP's longevity and fan base speaks for itself. In other words.... FUCK THE FUCK OFF!!!!! "So don't tell me what to listen to or tell me what to like. Don't tell me that it's bangin, off-the-hook and hella tight. Your opinion - matters - to you. Your opinion - matters - to you. -Colton Grundy |

"Fuck what you know, I'm playing baseball with hater domes and telephone poles, because I'm out cold." "My face is my property, painted up or not. Wearing a mask whatever I have or have not become is an extension of who I be, ain't nobody writin raps for me, and basically..." ...and it's a shame to catch a bullet in the chest, for some shit you said when you was high and thuggin; now the gat's in your face and look, who ain't sayin nuthin. |
