Panic! at the Disco – She Had The World Lyrics 17 years ago
This song is definitely about the frivolities of the subject in the first verse. The woman mentioned in the first verse seems almost selfish and manipulative, with words such as "spun the stars on her fingernails." She has the narrator completely captured.

THE COOLEST PART ABOUT THESE LYRICS...
is that when Ryan begins singing, they are switching NARRATORS. Suddenly, this girl is singing the song, talking about how she's insane and so on.

Panic! at the Disco – The Piano Knows Something I Don't Know Lyrics 17 years ago
The first verse of the song definitely falls into line with that whole "nonconformity" deal...saying that he won't cut his beard regardless of how crazy it looks, and saying that he'd like to build his house like the trojan horse--he's basically implying that he wants to be able to do things that aren't socially acceptable.
Maybe this "she" is supposed to be the person that challenges the narrator of the song to do these things? The instigator perhaps?

Panic! at the Disco – Mad As Rabbits Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm SO glad that I'm not crazy and this reminded somebody else of Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. If anybody doesn't know the story, it's basically about a Salesman (a carpetbagger, basically) trying to support his family in a world where things become obsolete too quickly to catch up with. Eventually, always being behind the times drives the main character of the play crazy, which is why this song remind me so much of Miller's story. The line that really killed it for me was "the stove is creeping up his spine again," because I'm pretty sure there's a section in the book where Miller's character is talking about either his old stove or old refrigerator.
