when he says "my heart's in agony" and "i never meant to make u cry" maybe he means that he lost the girl without even realizing it and now he feels guilty and shocked..maybe he never told her he loved her....the only part that confuses me is when he says "now that i have u" cause how can he have her since he just lost her? maybe he feels that now that he finally told her how he really feels he is going to have her back... dunno;p |

i think this song is about someone who may be confused and unstable as a character. so the only thing he knows right now for sure is that he wants to be with this girl and hold her tight. he is afraid of his own self and his up and down moods. however he knows that he doesn't want to let go because when he is with her he feels like he is in heaven..even though he loves her, he can't be sure for what is going to happen so he says no promises...this is just a reflection of his insecurity and fear.. that explains why he wants to die in her arms...because this will stop the time, so he will be with her forever and prevent anything from changing or ending this beautiful moment... |
