I love the meaning behind this song. In "Becoming one of you," Craig mentions that we're all of the same dirt. Everyone is always questioning an afterlife, but there is at least one certainity. Our bodies are made of dirt ("you came up off the ground from a million little pieces"), and as mentioned in this song as well as "when water comes to life," we consist mostly of water. These elements leave us when we die and bring life to others. It's a comforting thought and actually makes death seem like a beautiful cycle...to always be a part of and connected to everything... |

This is one of my favorite songs off the new album. What I love most about Cloud Cult is the way in which I am able to relate to the lyrics -- and this song is no exception. It certainly follows the typical Cloud Cult themes of searching for meaning, perception, compassion for others, and a positive outlook...love it! |

I think it's "spread his ashes with the breath from the last kiss that she blew" not "blood."
This is an incredible love song. It's my favorite song off this album, and definitely one of my favorite of all of cloud cult's songs. |
