| David Usher – Love Will Save The Day Lyrics | 17 years ago |

The 2nd part of the 1st verse could also be interpreted about something else, aside from war. The part: "so i walk you down to the water" could be about a person being led down a certain path in life by another person, one that they necessarily don't want. And they keep trying to break away from that path or choices that are weighing them down ("but you keep coming up for air); people are watching this person struggle, but they're basically apathetic to that person's situation("all those people, they don't give a damn/they just stood around and stare"). I really love this song, especially the part: you are walking you are breathing you can feel it you will be released About Leafsdude comment at the end, about the song - I definitely think that this song was him being hopeful about "love saving the day" in a society that has become, in certain aspects, very detatched and almost desentizied. |
