The Beatles – Hey Jude Lyrics 17 years ago
This song was written for Julian Lennon to cheer him up after John and Cynthia Lennon got divorced, or at least that's what I've heard. All in all, it's a great song with heartfelt lyrics and a catchy tune.

The Beatles – I've Got a Feeling Lyrics 17 years ago
I think John's "Everybody Had A Hard Year" is about seeing the bright side in bad times. The title kind of reminded me of "A Hard Day's Night" for some reason; kind of like a spin-off, but saying that things were getting harder for all of them and that they had outgrown the whole 'mop top' image. I don't know, but I do love the song.

I also love Paul's contribution to the song. It's very beautiful with a soulful attitude.

The Beatles – I Want to Tell You Lyrics 17 years ago
I just noticed this! I was listening to my iPod and at about 1:16 into the song, Paul is singing back-up for George. They are singing, "I feel hung-up and I don't know why". When Paul tries to sing the high note on "why", his voice cracks a little bit. Or at least it breaks up a little. You can hear it at specifically 1:19, but you have to listen extremely close. I also know it's not just my iPod; I listened to the song on the radio and I still heard it. Please tell me if you hear this too, so I know I'm not just going crazy.
Also, after the voice-cracking incident, listen to Paul's voice. H

The Beatles – Eleanor Rigby Lyrics 17 years ago
Somewhere, I heard that the Beatles saw the name 'Eleanor Rigby' on a tombstone and then wrote a song about it. I really don't believe this is true. But if I was dead and the Beatles used my name in their song, I'd be a very happy angel!
