I think it's about being in a long distance relationship and how it makes them feel. The fact they're both singing at the same time,shows they both feel the same about each other and long for the other-but something (distance) is stopping them...maybe for now or forever.I think forever because of the obvious strength of love they have for each other. "I pray that..." and everything that happens after that may be what they want to happen when they next see each other.It's almost as if it's a dream,then they wake up and notice nothings changed. "I'm miles from where you are, I lay down on the cold ground And I pray that something picks me up and sets me down in your warm arms"-When this is sang twice at the end it reminds me of wanting something so much,you feel that if you think about it hard enough and long enough it'll happen-but it doesn't. This song is perfection. |

This song is actually amazing. I agree with nandecatur aswell. "Too easy to get lost in progress I didn't see you there in that dress And suddenly the world seems so small"-He's been so busy with his career or w.e he didn't pay attention to the little things that matter-such as her.When he did finally 'notice her' she took his breath away and it was all he could think about-nothing else mattered. "But it is knowing you are there that makes me fine"-Having her there gives him peace of mind,whatever he goes through. "And I'm so glad that this has taken so long 'cause it's the journey that made me so strong"-When you've come out of something bad that has happened you feel you're a better person (stronger) because you've got through it.It's a matter of not wanting to change the past because of who it has made you to this day. |

I think Lollipop6 is on the same track as me kind of. It doesn't have to mean they are in a relationship. "Everything you think you know, baby Is wrong And everything you think you had, baby Is gone" -She thought they'd just end up together eventually,almost like they were already together.Then everything changes. "Certain things turn ugly when you think too hard And nagging little thoughts change into things you can't turn off" -They can't be together and she can't stop thinking about him.Every second of the day kind of thing. "Fade to black, I'm sick of trying Took too much and now I'm done It's all over but the crying" -She gives up ('cos something has went wrong) For ages she 'planned' everything...but in her head.She's decided she needs to get over him,but it's not that easy. "Do you really think I'm made of stone?" -The 'change'...Does he really think it wouldn't effect her/hurt her "That we only love the things we own?" -They wasn't actually together so it couldn't have been real and wouldn't have worked. I think it's just saying how people don't pay attention to anything past what they see,which makes them narrow minded&selfish.People are self absorbed and don't care about other people's problems etc.-That could be something to do with the little boy in the wheelchair. By that I mean,everyone else who can walk don't have that problem and don't pay attention to it either-only he does,because it is his. 'Life is a waterfall,We drink from the river,Then we turn around and put up our walls.'-Again the selfishness of people.E.g someone helps us through everything but when they want help you don't care? Thats just what I think though,I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong haha. |

I think it is about drugs.A tapeworm can't live on it's own & the song is almost saying he can't live without the tapeworm.The tapeworm being the drug.As drugs 'need to be taken' and the addicts feel they 'need the drugs' He is addicted,but he will be free one day,when he dies 'But I cannot grow,Till you eat the last of me, Oh when will I be free' The next bit is as if he's talking to the drug maybe? 'And you, a parasite,Just find another host,Just another stool to post' Just basically saying when he dies it will do the same to someone else. |

This reminds me of the book 1984 as someone has pointed out ages ago. It's on about has messed up everything is in the world today.Like people don't have morals? Everyones priority's are wrong kind of thing & people need to notice this because everything is changing so quickly. I'm actually not too sure on this song. |

The kombucha mushroom stuff is that stuff which people believe cures like loads of crap,which I'm sure you have all read and gathered by now (I hope!) It's saying 'who believes you' duh,who believes if it really cures or not,no-one pays attention blah blah blah. 'I play Russian roulette everyday, a man's sport, With a bullet called life, yeah called life' Unprotected sex,from the Kombucha stuff I'm guessing it's about curing stuff like aids as thats something major you can get from unprotected sex. 'My girl, you know, she lashes out at me sometimes' Think WHY she lashes out,thats fairly straight forward. Overall I think it's about the ignorance of people and the last verse obviously saying how angry it gets him. |
