Kids in Glass Houses – Lovely Bones Lyrics 11 years ago
A friend of mine says he heard Aled say it is about his sister or dedicated to his sister or something. The song is clearly making reference to the book of the same name and the book is about child rape and ultimately murder. I also
find it quite telling that he wrote this song before the Lovely Bones film was released.

Danny Kaye – Civilization Lyrics 12 years ago
This is a very intelligent song. People often think of the 1940s as being a very ignorant and racist time in our history. I say the author of this song was a very insightful person. We could learn a lot from this song.

U2 – I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight Lyrics 12 years ago
This song always catches me off guard. Has me in tears at the start of the first chorus. Don't know why. I think it reminds me of the journey I've travelled and that I'm still on that mountain but it's easier than it was.

The National – Exile Vilify Lyrics 13 years ago
That is an excellent analysis!! But... Was the song written for the game? If not, what does it mean from the artists perspective?

Relient K – Apathetic Way to Be Lyrics 13 years ago
Whatever the song is about, I think he is being deliberately contradicting. About caring and not caring. Possibly a confusion as to what he SHOULD care about but doesn't and things which he does care about but shouldn't matter.

I still cry when I hear it now. Ten years in.

Damien Rice – Cannonball Lyrics 13 years ago
Just talking about the chorus now, I think the song is about messing up and getting it really wrong.

stones taught me to fly
love, it taught me to lie
life, it taught me to die
so it's not hard to fall
when you float like a cannonball

I think he did learn all these things but has realised that he obtained his tuition from the wrong places.

Starfield – My Generation Lyrics 13 years ago
"If we're coming clean we seem to know we're incomplete"
Drugs? Or possibly coming clean about a previous lie?
I'm inclined to go with drugs because of it being called "my generation". This generation being one where the youth partake in drugs for various reasons.

K'naan – Wavin' Flag Lyrics 13 years ago
Really good analysis. But maybe not so heavy on repeating the lyrics? But, honestly, really good run down of the meaning.

Relient K – Who I Am Hates Who I've Been Lyrics 13 years ago
here is another definition:- Used to replace a word that might be considered unacceptable in a particular situation, when using a well known phrase; The groin or the testicles; Of, resembling, or expressed as a proverb, cliché, fable, or fairy tale; Widely known; famous; stereotypical

I have used this word used to describe something "same old" or usual. Like the same sunrise it ever was.
