| Ozzy Osbourne – Perry Mason Lyrics | 18 years ago |

As has been mentioned, Perry Mason was a character in some crime fiction novels by Earl Gardner. It was also made into a movie and TV series, I think, where he was played by Raymond Burr (also from Ironside). Unlike a couple of people have mentioned, though, Perry Mason was NOT a detective or any sort of investigator, but rather he was a defense attorney. Normally his client would be innocent of a murder charge of which they were accused, and he would demonstrate this by exposing the true perpetrator. Awesome song anyway. And Gerbs, from listening to the song I'm pretty sure that the lyrics here are correct, and the ones in your lyrics book are wrong. Weird that the lyrics that come with the CD arn't right, though. |

Like The Ultimate Sinner said, there's two different levels to this song: The first is the literal story of a werewolf, and the second is the werewolf as a metaphor for Ozzy's life at the time he wrote it. Besides, it's a badass song and I love it. Classic Ozzy. |

| Ozzy Osbourne – Dreamer Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This is one of those songs where the meaning is fairly clear - it's about mankind mistreating Earth, damaging both each other and the environment. Personally I love this song; it's so calm that it forms a stark contrast with Ozzy's heavier tracks (which, lets face it, is exactly what he's known for). It's beautiful, and along with Goodbye to Romance shows that Ozzy can write softer music and make it work. |
