Just to clear up and/or confirm some things... Broad Ripple Village is indeed an area of Indianapolis. There are a bunch of cool bars, and during the summer it gets pretty wild. Definitely plenty of "snortin' coke up in the bathroom" and picking up chicks. I live nearby, and since the time I was old enough to drive I've gone to Ripple and done lots of both. lol Broad Ripple is really an awesome diverse scene.
Fountain Square is also an Indianapolis neighborhood. "Trash filled streets" probably references the fact that it's on a little worse side of town than Ripple is. There are some cool bars there though, too.
As for the meaning of the song... I don't know what they meant by every line. I know what it means to me. I guess that's enough for me. They're playing tonight at Broad Ripple Park. I plan on attending. :) |

Supposedly, Nikki started writing this when he was 16. Just FYI, oldskoolpunker23.. Only one person died in that crash. The other 2 probably wish they did. They're vegatables.
I never heard Limp Bizkit's version, but the hurricane Katrina version with Chester from Linkin Park is AMAZING. |

This is such a beautiful song. Corabi is a great singer, and this album is amazing. Driftaway is one of the best songs on it.

The hair was something they started after Tommy fell from the drum kit and had to get stitches. They had to shave part of his hair and Nikki decided to turn it into a style. They showed it off by having it in a ponytail on top.
Tons of kids started shaving their heads like that, myseld included. It has stayed that way to this day.
