To me this song is about life after his father died. "and outside through the windowpane" This reminds me of without gravity when he is looking through the window waiting for his father to come home. "i'm getting getting getting hold of myself" He's finding ways to deal with it the right way instead of drug use. "who wants to run until the sun burns out?" He's looking for someone that wants to stay with him forever. I think the wrinkles bit is about how his mother looks a lot older because she's mourning. Anyway thats just my interpretation. |
