Eventhough sharon said that it's just a political song, every time I hear it, I think about my boyfriend. I think this could be about someone who really loves a guy/girl but he don't know what to do. I really could dedicate this song to my dearest (with some little exceptions:P). I agree with Tindalos. In the song it really goes Soul dancing in the Summer Night City... But I saw Therion few months ago at concert and when they sing in live show it is the original lyrics (soul dancing in the park...). Maybe it's just too quiet or something on this (CD) version so it's not heard. Anyway, it is really great song and it's definitely my favourit by Therion. Any time I hear it I just can't help myself and I start to sing, no matter what people around me think^^ It was the last song they sang on their concert and it was truly amazing. I will never forget that=D |
