I agree with Elihmph on the song meaning. But I question the statement that they're satanists. You really need to examine more of their lyrics to bring their intentions into better focus. Trying to raise awareness of satan's existence doesn't really serve his purpose. Indifference to God is easier and earns satan your soul just as well. More people would embrace God if they became aware of satan. The 'Speak of the Devil' version with Brad Gillis on guitar is my favorite. |

I dig how the lyrics have a fairly generic application to today's world. They can be proclaimed by both hawks and doves and still be valid. "They'll fight the world intil they've won and love comes flowing through" However unintentional that may be. |

I think this song is a warning from a male perspective about sexual immorality in our culture. Many people think Black Sabbath is a satanic band but if you really examine their lyrics you'll find that they're mostly warnings against satanic evil. |
