Personally i think it is about a woman who wants to die and to do it she is getting drugs, hence she is 'buying the stairway to heaven' and the drug dealing is taking place via a codeword to identify between buyer and dealer..I also believe that the piper is Jesus and that he wants her to go to heaven but she is tempted by hell as it suits her sinful personality ie drug taking etc. IMMENSE SONG :D |
