Absolutely without question The Cars' best song, quite possibly the best song of that entire decade and my favorite song of all time. It always struck me as such an odd coincedence that being the car nut that I am, a song called DRIVE by THE CARS would forever become a part of my life. I get tired of every other song eventually, but Drive is that one song that stays with me forever. R.I.P. Ben Orr. |

No one? Wow... as far as i'm concerned this was the second best single on this album. I think it talks about how overcomplicated life has become, and the desire we all have to "break out" of what has become the status-quo and get back to the simplicity of times past. This song carries a similar theme to Queen's "I want to break Free" with a different execution. That's my take anyway. |

I doubt this song will ever have many comments despite it's haunting beauty, but just in case the correct pronunciation of the artist is "Dooblay". The guy who sang this died of a heart attack long before his time sadly. |

Surprised there's no comments on this yet, this is a beautiful song about the power between two lovers. |

Too all those who held out high hopes for Keane at the beginning of this journal I used to "feel the same" about them and those who compared them to Coldplay etc., however they seem have to fizzled out after the second album. Here's hoping they come back as strong as they were on the first album again. I first heard them LONG before they were popular Sirius' indie station Left of Center so I know a little about a quality sound. |
