Firstly I'd like to start by saying to SpindalX that your comment is one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time, and Id like to thank you for that. I totally agree that it's just about an apartment with some interesting symbolism. When she talks about the bleach not being able to clean the dirt off of her, she could be talking about dirt as is the things she's done wrong, or maybe she's just philthy from drinking beer and smoking bongs with her friends! She mentions that the bottles have holes in them and that it hurts when she breathes. Clearly a social drug smoker. Maybe thats why she comments on how she realises she's no better than the other beer drinking, pot smoking, subterranean apartment dwellers. Suck on that one. Cheers. |

I think this song is about an alcoholic father. I think when she talks about, "Youre head bleeds and you're nose bleeds too" she's describing his injuries, confirming suspicions that he's drinking again. I think he lies to her and says he's not drinking, so she wants him to Come Clean and admit he's fallen off the wagon. When she says, " I know it wasn't you, cuz you were not there" she's talking about how he's a completely person when he's drunk. |
