| i love the song except for the breakdown in the middle. the last album had a few songs like that too, it just doesn't transition nicely for me. other than that its a great rock song. name one other band that released 8 good to great albums in a row and looks set to do a ninth. even the mighty radiohead released the sub par hail to the thief. | |

| i hate guns n roses version, whats the point in covering a song if all your going to do is polish it up? if your going to cover a song surley you should do something original with it (i.e. jeff buckley - hallelujah, johnny cash - hurt). Dead Boys version is way better, its raw and from the heart. This is an amazing song, one of my favs. | |

its probably not what it meant to iggy but to me this song is about a guy in vietnam. his developed a drug habbit since his been drafted "I'm a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm" and is very afraid, not of dying but of killing "Love in the middle of a fire fight" He is also afraid his going mad "Honey gotta help me please Somebody gotta save my soul" i also always thaught the line "I'm the world's forgotten boy" is a great way to describe soldiers of any war. |
