This is a beutiful song. I listen to it and sing it to myself all the time. I love it. Personally it makes me think of my boyfriend and me ( how unoriginal, I know ). This song's meaning can vary from person to person but to me its about a couple being judged by family, friends, society, whatever. They judge based on that first impression of appearance and the couple is left to rough it out... |

AHEM! Okay, I need to say this. Flyleaf is, indeed, a Christian rock band. This song may very well be for your God OR for a boyfriend. WHAT EVER! I'm an athiest but I like this song. So shut it with your pointless arguing. IT IS JUST A SONG GUYS!! So get over yourselves, slap on some headphones and lets just enjoy the music in spite of your damn high-horsed religious preference!
