First of all, lets give some attention to that sound that Ellen keeps saying. It will be explained later. Some of the fallen angels will be responsible to guide this persons path on earth. The fallen angels who's singing, discover that his name and some others are written, meaning that they will be responsible for the task described above. The fallen angel says that he will help her, in everything she needs to achieve their goal. But... He thinks he doesn't need her anymore! He can do it, with or without her! And then, he shouts: I KNOW IT'S GONNA BE! Notest two things: From here to the end of the song, he doesn't say anymore that "Anything Could Happen". His doubt was replaced by absolutelly knowing that "IT'S GONNA BE", no matter what. The song ends with him saying: BUT I DON'T THINK I NEED YOU. And then Ellen keeps repeting that weird sound, which its actually the letter "E". From Ellen. So, the end of the song it's something like this: E, E, E, E, E, E E, I don't think I need you! Meaning: Ellen, Ellen, Ellen, Ellen, I don't think I need you! |

I think this song can be about two different things. First, and I prefer this one, can be about a person who have a "Dark Side". This person fell in love with another who doesn't have it, its "perfect", "too good", so started this relationship pretending to be good as well. "And everything you love Will burn up in the light"(if discovered). Second, like everyone is saying, can be about a Human who wants to be a Vampire "I'll never be good enough, You make me Wanna Die" But, don't matter what Taylor would say, I think that's obvious that the band wanted to take a piece of this vampire pie, not necessarily Twilight of course. "Taste me", "Drink my soul", "New Moon on the Rise"... I doubt that this was purely coincidence. |

I think it's about realize that the love of the other person is getting over.. You feel that the person who you love, dont love you like before and your relationship probably wont last to much anymore.. But, even knowing that, you want to keep waiting that something change and make it all better again... On youtube a guy said that its about devil and Rihanna'a deal with him! lol |
