for me, it's like the guy/girl are in a situation where they can freely express their true feelings, yet they can't tell it personally.. they have a way of making the other person feel loved in a way that the two of them could only understand... i mean it's like they are in a play.. yes, she can tell the words she wanted to say, but it's just their role.. it's not real.. "Love is like a role that we play." But the guy believes in her so much.. he loves her so much that he wants to believe that what she says is real.. "But, I believe in you so much I could die for the words that you say But, I believe in you so much I could die from the words that you say" but then again, those words aren't real unless you mean it personally... Yes, the girl also loves the guy but she can't tell it to him directly for some reasons.. (maybe she's afraid that if she meant what she says, maybe the guy won't meant the same..or maybe she feels that she won't be good enough for him...) but the guy wants to tell her to stop chasing ghosts.. face reality.. she shouldn't hide her true feelings or else they could never be together.. the girl had experienced it before and he wants to tell her not to do the same thing.. "But, you're chasin' the ghost of a good thing Haunting yourself as the real thing It's getting away from you again While you're chasin' ghosts" --well that's what i think about this song.. ^^; |

this song is beautiful..the guy can't wait to be back with the girl she loves.. whatever he was doing there, he's glad she's not a part of it.. nothing compares to the pain he feels of not being with her.. and he doesn't want to be anywhere else but to be with her.. No matter how long it takes, he will always be heading back to her.. it's where he feels that he's home.. |

love this song..and touched by its lyrics.. its like when we go through life, we find ourselves in the middle of everything.. we wanted to do a lot of things, but we don't even know if what we're doing right now is necessary or like if everything is just a lie... But if we knew, despite the "poison trees" in life, would we even try....? and the poison trees represents something that hinders us from doing what we want..yes, we need them in our lives, but they're also poison.. it blinds us.. it keeps us away from our dreams... |
