the format is one of of my favorite bands. i was researching them a bit and found "this past year". i've heard only 2 of their songs now, this and "next red light". i really want to hear some more and download some of their stuff but i can't find it anywhere. can anyone help me out? the link above me doesn't work. please email me at jmcnutt28@yahoo.com. I agree with Max. I think he fell in love with a girl, but couldn't get the courage to tell her. She may have been in love with someone else and he just wanted to wait for her to get over the other guy. He couldn't take it, so he's contemplating suicide. Then finally he either got over her or just gave up waiting and "somebody came and took my hand" meaning he moved on. Since it ends just as it begins with "i'm butter on a summer day when she's around," I think he may still have feelings for her even though he's with someone else. |
