Funny enough when i first heard the song i thought it was somewhat of a sad-lost-love song ;) but after listening over and over again... I'd thought of how we do what Everybody high or the majortiy says and we follow Mankind is feble like that... we cannot face what we cannot beat, so we follow and do, simply because fear controls us and to be isoleated is too scary!! So we'll follow and follow since "ignorance is bliss" I think she singing about people who look at this world with open eyes and mind and think "I'm sorry, so sorry. I'm sorry it's like this." Because we're sorry but we can't do anything, people we fight againast... etc etc I think people like us are all sorry we can't do anything at all but watch... and live our lives |

I wonder if it's actaully talking about Paris or simply being somewhere in general. I love the song... I'm not complete sure what it means but More or less it's gotta be about Going out with friends, getting drinks, getting lost in a city, finding lust etc... for me it's just being out parying then the aftermath7 I've lost my way, its hard to it through/ I see the night, but i'm lost outside of you7 The whole meaning I'm not completely sure :/ |

0-0... I'm surprised Not alot people comment on their thoughts of this song which is EPIC! Anyhoo I think It has alot to do with the movie... but since it's been forever since I've actaully seen the movie I'll just tell you what i think... maybe later I'll tell the lryics to the movie meaning My thoghts alone on the song; "There's a place where the garden can take you Through the looking glass" ------> I'm guessing it's saying more or less their a way to become what you've once desired and what I'd say is that "Something BIG" Is being a Celeberaty/Politic something with power or seeming nice, The Place can take you inside Of what you've always been LOOKING INTO(/wanting to be or admired) "Find a way with the plants - they can take you To your path"----> (Once again I'm not sure here's it goes); OK so you've always wanted to be part of the THE GLASS(of what'd always looked into) and these "Platns"=Human/bussiness people(or)Right people and they will show you of what path you need to take to enter the Looking Glass(/Your goal of celebarty's or politics) "Chase away all the funny pain Down the rabbit hole And another world awaits behind the little door"--------> (Two ideas about this); After all the hardship, You go down unexpectally to the top(Or down ^^'') to your goal and so you pain dissapears for the moment but... you've never fix your problem. > While you're there and already on top.... I don't know why you only talk about it as a break up this song is more EPIC than that!!! It's about life in general not only about Love but friendship: "This is the way that we love, Like its forever, Then live the rest of our life, Both not together" How can you say this is only about love but more like friendship(or family) You think you'll be friends forever than as time move on you grow up and you become sperate and live on your life. But of course (not always) everything happens as you grow up... There pain, love, lust, death and so on... as joy and ecc. We grow up and think we'll be together forever but grow up and distant yourself (going unnotice by yourself) and move on. It also depend which kind of life you're living... This could be a drug addiction song which it maybe is... But i also found it to be a bit about the people who have no hope who are so say "Stuck to a ganga" or a "Black bussiness" Like This person talks about a person or people he knew to be in a gang and they were in "In a Crooked little town" Like a certain area where they meet and the darkside of a certain city they live in. "They were lost and never found" meaning they continued whatever they were doing and sooner or later died not that the narrator knows of but continues to say "Fallen Leaves, Fallen leaves... hit the ground" Believing them dead but even before they were never graceful. I hitched a ride, until the coast To leave behind, all of my ghosts Searching for something, I couldn’t find at home ---> My opinione the Narratore knew this people so well and when one of them died or something, he went away hoping to forget them and tried to get back himself. Can’t get no job, can you spare a dime? Just one more hit, and I’ll be fine I swear to God, this’ll be my one last time!----> The Narrator talks about a member(s) how and why they do this for being mostly poor and not really having a chance or simply because they wanted the drugs for themselves. The Narrator Warns/explains of what will happen if they choose to join this "Runaway before you drown or the streets will be drown" When it gets dark, in Pigeon Park Voice in my head, will soon be fed By the vultures, that circle round the dead!---> This certain area where they work (in a cross fire more likely) Their fears "Voice in my head" will soon kill them "Will soon be fed". "The Vultures" are partly like everybody expected him/her to be dead sooner or later and take the place as leader for him/her. I never once thought, I’d ever be caught! Staring at sidewalks, hiding my track marks! I left my best friends, or did they just leave me? --> This character (the Narratore talks about) never once believe she be caught doing this Blackmacker work for she/he did everything his/her power to hid her work. The last frase more or less "I left my best friends or did they leave m?" is about her/him being killed on the job.. was she/he really killed by the other gang or was their some conspirasy behind it? She'll never know anyway. PS: I know this may talk about drugs but this is what i thought when i first heard it! |

I also think (from both versoins) this song talks about a person who'ìs been ingored/Discarded so easily even when he's the most important person in their group. People tend to take granted alot of things in a friendship |
