| The line "sing for your lover like blood from a stone" I think, has something to do with the expression "you can't squeeze blood from a stone" meaning, you can't take from someone who has nothing. and the line "when your high and dry as a bone" I think, means you're high and dry and not necessarily "high" as in drug use. The rest I don't get. | |
