Wow, I can't believe I'm the first to comment on this song, its has to be one of the Jonas Brother's best songs, I love the lyrics combined with the BA guitar beat. Now as to the meaning, I am not quite sure, but after contemplating the meaning for a while I think I am going to take a stab at it. This song is about the seemingly omnipresent approach of the elder stage of the baby boom, as the baby boomers get older and older, America's economy is going to need to change rapidly to fit the needs of an aging country or the Chinese-"American" Dragon will emerge and take over America's influence sphere. China is already a big part of America, everything is made in China, and they are only increasing in number! "His skills are getting faster With Grandpa the Master" These lines only solidify my point- that the Dragon only becomes stronger as it is affected by the elderly, pretty sure, the Dragon of China will strike and take out America on its most important fortified establishment- the langauge. We will be speaking Chinese before you know it! Thanks Jonas Brothers for forewarning of this of this upcoming plight! |

This song is about the difficulty to achieve the "american dream" in a urban setting and 50 cent uses the backseat of a car sex as a metaphor to prove that people can't get to the ideal 'hotel' despite their best wishes. Despite this, he might seem in favor of the backseat of a car, but in reality, it is just masquerading the fact that many Americans give up on the American Dream and settle for something less and lie themselves into thinking they are getting the best deal. Overall, a great song. |

In general I also think that it is about those overachievers that are basically just egotistical jerks. About how the ones who cut throats and tell lies to get in front are most likely to succeed. How by being selfish, you get get ahead in this life, but how their over attraction on earthly things will leave them nothing when they die. Does anyone know the meaning of "poster child of becoming homeless?" |

| Yeah I guess, so. I think this song is talking about Christians and what they think the world thinks of them, like having to prove yourself to world because they won't forgive you like Christ. I guess the meaning is still vague, but I think it is supposed to be that way. Most lyrics are subjective. | |
