| Ketchy Shuby is a way of singing "Catchy Shubby". Catchy Shubby is a Jamaican game that is similar to Cricket, only much faster moving, and much more fun. The song is not about sex, or drugs as the postings above claim. Instead, it is about having fun with a group of friends and playing a field/street game that was very popular in Jamaica. Tosh refers to learning the rules of the game. There are no written rule books for Catchy Shubby, so everyone has to learn by oral communication of local rules or by playing for a few hours with a team to figure out the rules of play. | |
