all i can say about this song was this was the first song she wrote for Your Little Secret album. I also read that was when her chat room on her website was taking off and melissa started jumping online chatting with fans. one fan didn't believe it was melissa and missy told the fan that this was the first song she had for the album and called the fan up. The fan was overthrilled! |

The video for this song is amazing. I love it and it's so beauitful. I love the whole theme of how you shouldn't give into your desires sometimes. I've felt this way so many times when u know this person is just not good for your health. I love the scene in the video when the man pulls sarah into him and the candles are burnt out and smoke is rising. OH this video is one of my favs!!! |

miss_mo pretty much explained it for me. She did state that on her Vh1 story tellers that the letters she was recieveing were scary and it was the only comforting way sarah could deal with it. She said the letters were becoming "I need to be with" manner that was worrying here. If you know the back story the fan was very obsessed with her. He even tried to sue her in court just to be near her. But it prolonged for a long period of time cause the court needed to gaurnetee Sarah's saftey. The fan eventually committed sucide and the suite fell out of court. But i do admit if you look away from that matter the song is very beauitful in a haunting way |

i thought the "dangerous Power" was an out of control emotion between the two people. I think the narrator of the song is talking about how he tried to guide someone he loved and it failed. Especially at the end when he says "all i see anymore is history" as in there is nothing that can continue between them. I have to admit this is a song i found a hard time understanding and relating too. |

I took this song so personal considereing what i was going through. I interpeted in what i was going through. I was involved with someone who was already taken and we had an affair. For me i felt like she was in the same position. The other person knew they shouldn't lead her on but at the same time he's pursing something with her "tracking treasure down"
At the end is what gets me where she says "you had me wishing that everything was real" That's how i felt with this guy that i knew it was wrong and it could all end but he would only tell me things i want to hear instead of giving me the reality that we would never be together. |

i admit i have a hard time trying to figure out what this song means. I just take it on a personal for me. I had fallen in love with a guy and it ended badly and i tried to move on. But later on i found out i still had feelings for him.
So as the song interperts to me that i'm having this push and pull affect with the feelings for him still. So in the song i feel like she's on the fence about her feelings for someone she use to be in love with. |

I have to admit it almost sounds like sucide but i never got that really. I think cause i relate to this song on a personal level. Plus this is one of my favorite rolling songs. I think she's gotten caught up in her life that she let certain things pass her by. I think in this song she's revaluating her life and questioning if she made the right choices. BUT I have to same DAMN i love her voice. so angelic. Love to hear more from her. Oh i highly recommend the Unplugged Gabriel and Dresden Mix. SUPURB |

Kudo points to you neeknitsuj on that comment. To me this song is about the process of falling in Love. At the beginning of the song she feels it coming on and trying to think with hear head. Then by the second verses "the love has overcome her" meaning there is nothing she can do to control it. I think i relate to it as when you don't think about love too much and let the simple feeling of it take control of you. |
