I love this song! The second i heard it i was hooked. I have a bit of a different interpretation of the song. I think it's about how love is intangible as a feeling like noise and pain - "Love is noise, love is pain...". Either of these feelings can be expressed in so many ways and i do believe it does have a bit of a connection to the problems in the world today. Also, i think another lyric in the song has a connection to our global problems -" We are one, imcomplete". This means that we are one as a whole, living on the same planet and we will always be imcomplete because nothing is perfect and everything and everybody has problems. If you have watched the video too, there is are a lot of clips of chinese dancers and different aspects of there culture. I agree with bigeddie about what he said, how we exploit their population. Awesome song |

I would like to start off by saying Matt Good is amazing, although i have yet to see him in concert, i can't for the day that i do. I never really came up with for the song, but since we know what it is now, it's a bit easier to disect each part. I just wanted to comment on the part "When we were young and hit like hammers". I think this means that when he was young, he felt like any kid did, unstoppable. They made their impact in the world like a hammer on a nail. |
