Emilie did such a great job, I love this cover! Plus the song itself is awesome, it's been like an anthem for my party-all-night-long and ladie's night years. This song is not about love, it's about life being short and ugly sometimes, so we have to enjoy every time of it. Maybe it's not the most appropriate time, but all of us need time to enjoy ourselves. And just in case anybody thinks a girl's purpose on life is to find a man, "Some boys take a beautiful girl / And hide her away! from the rest of the world / I want to be the one to walk in the sun...!" sends the message that it's better to have no man than having one who controls you. I love the song, it's so perfect <3 |

This is one of the most surprising, interesting and amazings songs I've ever heard. I heard it for the first time when I was younger and I didnt understand a thing of English, and someway it made me cry. Now I do understand it, and it is just magic, the way it seems to surround your soul and heart, it makes me cry and makes me feel good at the same time. It just can be magic. |

Definetely it is my favourite song of the new album. I don't think it's bad, I think it is boring. When I hear a song from the new album I thing "Yeah, it's good" but the problem is that all song are a bit the same, and it makes the album quite boring lol Well, anyway lol I think the song is about a relationship which has been recently broken by the man, he is blaming her because everything went wrong, but she shows that the problem was that he wanted her to change, he did not love her the way she was, and she didnt want to change. This is why everything sounds this... "sarcastic" (I think I can't find the right word in english lol). She calls him honey, babe, love, but with rage; she asks him to blame it on her if he will feel better, she knows what really happened. I love this song, it is really strong, it has a great feeling in it. Just can explain it with words. And yep, Mozart's Lacrimosa is absolute awesome. -Actually, the whole Requiem is, LOL) |

Well I see it from another point of view. It could be about a girl who is married/goes out with a man that is quite violent and he has murdered other women but he is not in jail (or whatever) because police (or whoever LOL) had no proof. Maybe every night he comes back at home drunk, and that's why she say something about another fight and another night. And she knows everything that is going to happen, so she records the murder to have a proof so they can catch them. And having a relationship would make more sense for the "Youre jealous, oh, Youre jealous why?" part than if she was a prostitute. Oh! And sorry for my bad English people lol |
