I agree with M777, "This appears to be about Nicholas and Victoria from Scenes from a Memory. " Yet I think the most beautiful thing about songs, in general, is that they can be about what you wish. Spiritual, Victoria, or even a couple. This song blew me away when I first heard it. It's my favorite song off of the album. Dream Theater always seems to out do themselves. Getting back to the point, there doesn't have to be ONE correct meaning. People interpret things differently, and that's the beauty of it. |
