Yeah.. my father just passed away back at the end of January. The line "she couldn't let him go" really reminds me of my mother.. I can really connect with this song. It's extremely to move on without a father, especially this early on in my life. There are few songs that can move me as this one does. |

Has anyone heard Joe Bonamassa's cover of this song on "You And Me"? It by far blows Zep's out of the water. I love Zep with all of my heart, but the #1 rule of covers is to do it bigger and better, and Joe Bonamassa pulled it off big time. He just captures the sheer emotion of this song with his amazing voice and superior guitar skills. (Sorry Page fans, but there is better out there. You just have to let go and discover it.) |
