| Blockhead – The Strain Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Does anyone know the source of the dialogue in the middle and towards the end? I get the feeling Blockhead uses snippets of audio from old movies. It sounds really nice and it would be interesting to see where it's from. | |

Odd where it sais "So good to see you I've missed you so much So glad it's over" i could swear maynard sings "So glad I'm sober." instead of "So glad it's over" |

I only know this song since yesterday, but it's already my favorite Opeth song. I love the instrumentals and vocals in this. At first I thought it would be an all-clean song, and when the grunting kicked in I was like "fuck yeah!" |

I think it's about someone drowning his girlfirend or wife because he somehow doesn't love her anymore. He has slight regret but "your memory is nothing but the scars on me" so he is indifferent about it. It seems that he lets satan guide his acts. this can also mean that he does waht comes to mind/whatever he thinks is good or serves him right. |

| R.E.M. – Losing My Religion Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I played this song over and over again when I was losing my religion. It kind of helped me... as far as the lyrics are concerned, I don't know... They are quite confusing. Though i think that "That's me in the corner, That's me in the spotlight, losing my religion," is about that he used to be kindoff blended with the mass; 'in the corner' and now that he's losing his religion he's in the spotlight; that he stands out and people maybe view him differently. But it's offcourse also about a relationship. but it's all very deep, that's for sure... |

A good friend of my parents died over a year ago of cancer... she was too young to die.. Her son played this song on his guitar at the funeral. It was so touching how he played it with so much feeling. Since then I get tears in my eyes everytime I hear this song. it's just beautiful... |

Fucked up how some people actually think that war is a good thing. I think that trying saying what the world would look like without war is pointless.. since war has been going on since mankind. @Mz102489 (wtf) Dude, what you're saying is so not true. if there was no war, WWI would not have happened, so Hitler would not have a grudge against france or England, and would not have tried to cease power in Germany. We would be talking some evolved old germanic/celtic language, you might not have been in America at all because without war there is no killings of Native amaricans either. etc. etc. I think as long mankind rules this earth war will allways exist. That's because humans have different opinions about things, so they argue about things, sometimes arguements get out of hand between countries and voilà you have a war on your hands. Love this song. I think LoG used this quote to show their disaproval of the Iraq War in general. |

| I think he is going to seek death, not through suicide but he might go and fight enemies and hope he once dies. | |
