A few things. I always heard "Lone me, oh this lonely" instead of "lonely or this lonely" And where it says "But he's feeling so down tight tonight" I thought it was "But it's feeling so damn tight tonight" which would coincide with what I thought was "Filthy tight, the dress is filthy" in place of "Filthy type" etc. Which would go along with her saying how difficult the dress is to wear. I don't think it really matters either way, but those are my interpretations. This is probably my favorite PJ Harvey song. |
