The beauty of all of LZ's lyrics are that they are ambiguous enough that they can be interpreted personally. That's just one of the things I love about this band. You'd think after 30 years, the sheep would give the satanic b.s. a rest. Zep was THE biggest band in the world, with far and away the biggest grossing conceert apearances, and if they were really trying to convert the world into satanists they certainly had the power to do a better job. Look around people, do you see any? There are way more people claiming to be Christian now than in the 70's, so maybe they really were talking about Heaven and secretly converted all of these new "souls." It makes about as much sense as the devil crap. |
