| Bruce Dickinson – Navigate The Seas Of The Sun Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Yeah, tyranny of souls isn't just about space. River of no return is about the river Styx or possible all the rivers of the dead in Greek mythology. Kill Devil Hill is about the right brothers flight. Power of the sun is a rather nihilistic look at Networking. I know two things about Dickinson: First, he'll often write rather abstract songs. This is an example of one. I don't think their is an over all meaning, rather a description of how he feels sometimes. Secondly: He loves science fiction, evident in Skunkworks on. Oh, and to answer you about the Einstein thing, it was my favorite part. "God doesn't throw dice with the Universe" is a quote by Einstien which he often said in defiance to quantum mechanics. I think it's a some what clever double entendre stabbing at both determinism and how much science resembles religion. This is most evident when he reverse God and Einstein in one of the final lines, suggesting people are the creators of their own understanding. |
