By the way, this is my favourite Celine song. The story behind it has touched me so deeply, and I would love to one day name my daughter Karine, after the girl that brought so much to Celine's life. Like I said, I'm a HUGE fan, so it would be my own little tribute.

Yes, Cool Breeze is 100% wrong, and myrdhyn, you are correct. Fly (or Vole, the French version) was written after Celine lost her beloved niece, Karine, to CF in 1994. Karine was 16 when she passed away, in Celine's arms, as Celine sang to her and made her feel comfortable enough to let go.

Is it possible to get a change on the title of this song? I believe the full title is "I'm Your Angel"...that's how it appears on the albums These Are Special Times, as well as All The Way...A Decade of Song.

The first time I heard this song, I fell in love with it. It reminds me of a song you'd hear playing in the background of an old black-and-white movie. The lyrics fit right with it, too. They are so simple, but so powerful at the same time. I think she's saying, "I am singing this song to help you understand that I love you and need you, and I'd give anything for you."

I am a HUGE Celine Dion fan, and I've read about the day she recorded this song. Her husband purposely got into a little argument with her that morning, knowing she would sulk about it and be able to whip out that emotion. Not to mention the fact that in this song, she reaches an F note, which is almost out of her voice range. Celine rocks it out, and this song still gives me chills!
