i also like to think that it can put referenced towards beliefs and religions such as christianity "Do you know about his strength in convictions? Or how she puts all her faith in religion? Did we take the time to really discover How little we know about each other?" It's like its saying don't dismiss someone just because they believe something different or live a different way.
