I don't know that he thinks that is marriage will last forever and i don't think that he minds divorce. the woman that he chooses to marry will be the one, just no the one that he's going to be with forever. He'll love her forever, but he may not want to be married to her forever. "It dissipates And soon evaporates" It almost doesn't sound like he expects the marriage to last. It also doesn't sound like he expects to be bitter about it either. She can take half of his stuff when it's over but it's not a big deal. I don't know. The more i think about it the more confused i get. I wish i could just ask him...and then make sweet love to him :-) |

| go cry about it why don't you? that's the meanest thing i've ever heard. everytime i hear it it actually makes me what to cry. makes me feel really guilty. i feel like a child being scolded, or rather a grown woman being scolded by the man she loves. i'm trying to apologize and explain myself. i'm trying to make things right and he just doesn't want to hear anymore excuses. i start to tear up and he says "go cry about it why don't you." the tears just don't mean much anymore because we've done this over and over again. i hate you john mayer. that is the meanest line ever! | |

| This song is about devotion. I dont think it's about a person who can get over anther person, she doesn't want to. She is kind of saying that she is here to stay. No matter what this person does or where they go she will alway be there. Waiting for them to back. She's saying that she'll play the game and pretend to move on and accept things, but she won't. She's waiting for them to come back and she fully expects them to. "and when we meet, which i'm sure we will." | well the song means what she means it to mean. i saw an interview when this album first came out and she explained it. it's not really a love song. it's a "morning after song." she talking about the morning following an amazing night that she has with someone. really it's king of about sex. that's why she doesn't want to leave the bed. it's the only memory that she has of this person and she doesn't want to step away from what has just happened. sound like this person was really good in bed. | |
